100% of Community Art Pumpkin Auction proceeds and 10% of Pumpkin Patch proceeds will go directly to VFW Post 101.
There is much more still to come, so hit Interested or Going and keep an eye on this event page as we reveal more of what we're building.
Bring the kids. Bring your friends. Wear the costume. Shop local. Pick a pumpkin. Bid on some weird art. Stay awhile.
Let's make a day of it!
Open Circle Events is celebrating one full turn around the sun…
….and we're doing it the best way we know how: by throwing one hell of a fall festival.
This year's Hex & Harvest is being built in collaboration with COS Makers Market & Collective and hosted at VFW Post 101 in downtown Colorado Springs.
FESTIVAL HIGHLIGHTS
FREE Community Trunk-or-Treat for Kids | 11 AM–1 PM
We'll have up to 20 decorated trunks outside handing out treats, including separate allergy-friendly options so more kids can participate.
Pumpkin Patch
Pick out a locally-grown pumpkin from Padilla Produce to take home while you're here! 10% of Pumpkin Patch proceeds benefit VFW Post 101.
Community Art Pumpkin Auction
Local artists are transforming pumpkins into one-of-a-kind pieces of art. These aren't just for the kids—expect everything from beautiful and whimsical to spooky, strange, gothic, psychedelic, and wonderfully weird.
100% of auction proceeds benefit VFW Post 101.
Halloween Market
Shop an indoor curated market filled with local makers, artists, small businesses, and more. Our vendors are encouraged to decorate their spaces and hand out treats, too, because if you know Open Circle, you know we're serious about the vibes.
Readers' Row
Stop in for a reading while you explore the festival.
Food & Drinks
Come hungry and make a day of it! We'll have food, drinks, seasonal treats, and plenty more to announce as October gets closer.
Open Circle's First Anniversary
Hex & Harvest marks exactly one year since Open Circle's very first event. This is where it started, and we can't think of a better way to celebrate our first full turn around the sun than bringing everyone together again.
BENEFITING VFW POST 101
We're especially excited that this year's celebration gives us an opportunity to support the people welcoming us into their home for the day.
