rich, fertile soil. Space plants 24 to 36 inches apart.

Water: Moderate & Consistent. Keep soil evenly moist like a wrung-out sponge; water deeply at the base to prevent leaf rot.

Growth & Support: An upright, bushy annual growing 3 to 4 feet tall. As the heavy "pumpkins" form in late summer, the branches will require a sturdy stake or small tomato cage for support.
